London Duck Tour

If you've never taken a duck tour, this is your chance! Tour London's sights in a way you never imagined possible, on an exciting road and river adventure aboard a yellow amphibious vehicle. It's 80 minutes of fun, laughter and interesting sightseeing in fantastic London – what more could you ask for?

Aboard a unique amphibious craft, first used in the D-Day landings in World War Two, you will pass famous London landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Big Ben, the House of Parliament and Trafalgar Square. You'll then make a dramatic launch into the Thames River (20 minutes) for the waterborne part of your tour.

The excitement of seeing London in this novel way is enhanced by the action-packed commentary provided by your entertaining guide, who offers an alternative view of London's history along with fascinating facts and figures about the vehicles themselves.

London Duck Tour - Amphibious Vehicle:
The amphibious craft, originally known as "DUKWS" were first used for the D-Day landings. In their eye-catching yellow livery, today's vehicles bear little resemblance to their military predecessors.

The vehicles have been extensively refurbished and fitted with the latest environmentally friendly diesel engines. The deluxe refits includes comfortable seating for 30 passengers, a public address system and full safety equipment.

Departure Point: Departs Chicheley Street (SE1 7PJ). It is approximately 100 yards to the rear of the London Eye. The nearest tube station is London Waterloo. Departure Time:

• January and November - every 30 minutes from 10:30am to 3:00pm
• February - every 30 minutes from 10:30am to 4:00pm
• March - every 30 minutes from 10:30am to 5:00pm
• April to September - every 15 minutes from 10:00am to 6:00pm
• October - every 30 minutes from 10:30am to 4:30pm
